Monadic Leadership
By Jon Eden Khan
Monad: from the Ancient Greek μονάς (monas) meaning 'unity', and μόνος (monos) meaning 'alone'.
Singularity is dedicated to a fundamentally new form of political leadership. One we call ‘monadic leadership’.
Monadic leadership is the practice of leading from the Life force of spirit in the core of one’s heart rather than from personal opinion, ideology, or tribal identity.
Monadic leadership operates on the premise that humanity today is calling for a massive upgrade in the standards we have for those in positions of political leadership.
This is evidenced on one hand in the level of mistrust, cynicism and apathy that have become endemic in so many people’s attitudes toward political leaders, and on the other in how leaders like Donald Trump have gained popularity, in part, by breaking conventional political filters and giving the appearance of authenticity and transparency in just how brazen they are in their emotional reactions — even if the content is deeply problematic.
While most power is transacted via projections of outer authority, monadic leadership is about leaders sourcing themselves in a radically different kind of power.
This is the power of Life itself as it vibrates at the core of every being.
As the mystery schools of the ages have pointed to, while our personalities operate in the embodied world of manifestation, and our souls participate in the interconnected field of love, wisdom, grace, and light that surrounds the planet, the word ‘monadic’ relates to the indivisible ‘One’ of spirit at the core of our being and the Earth as a whole.
Monadic leadership is about a leader sourcing themselves here in a way that plugs their service into the will, purpose, and power of Life itself.
Politics is always about how human beings choose to channel power, and monadic alignment is the basis of true power.
Most of the time what drives our politics, leadership, and governance comes from the personal agendas, opinions, and prejudices of a leader. More rarely, when we talk of visionary and service-oriented leaders we are thinking about leaders inspired by the will, purpose, and power of their soul.
When a leader sources themselves in the current of spirit in the core of their being, this allows them to plug into the will, power, and purpose at the core of all Life, which brings an entirely different level of potency that can flow through their soul and embodied service in the world.
Accessing this current brings identification as the whole, showing up to express its will, love, and creativity in the circumstances of our lives, and over time, as a leader goes deeper in drawing from this well as the source of their power, the scale of the One rising in their hearts gets bigger.
At first, a leader opening to their monadic core experiences a transmission of the one Life force at the core of all beings, but over time and as they go deeper, they start to experience the Life force of the whole Earth coursing through their hearts.
When such leaders have also dedicated themselves to other critical areas of development, from soul initiation to integral consciousness development to developing their expertise in their chosen area of service to emotional maturity, erotic integration, masculine-feminine integration, trauma work, shadow work, and embodied integrity, these are the kind of leaders being called for today.
In Singularity we are developing rigorous training programs that combine these areas of development to support the emergence of awake, integrated, embodied, initiated leaders whose core alignment isn’t only with one nation, religion, or ideology, but with the singularity of the Earth rising through their heart and inviting their service to all life and the planet as a whole.
We see the emergence of such leaders as representing a fundamentally new consciousness emerging on the planet in these times of incredible tension and collective crisis. This consciousness isn’t based in the regular patterns of separation that have characterised the post-WW2 world order. And neither is it based in the more loving and globally inclusive consciousness that seeks greater wholeness and global interconnection that started to emerge in the 60’s and has been expressing itself in progressive spiritual culture ever since.
The type of consciousness we see emerging today starts with the radical, indivisible One that is already established at the core of every being and the Earth as a whole, and then serves right relationship between the different expressions of the One on that basis.
Today, humanity is facing a convergence of crises unprecedented in scale and complexity — climate collapse, geopolitical fragmentation, runaway AI, deepening economic inequality, mass disinformation, and a spiritual crisis of meaning. These are not isolated issues, but expressions of a deeper rupture between human systems and the living fabric of Life itself.
In such a context, leadership rooted in ego, ideology, or even well-meaning reform is no longer sufficient. What is required is a new kind of leadership — one that sources its authority not from status, charisma, or party lines, but from the indivisible source of Life at the core of all beings.
This is what we mean by monadic leadership: a new evolutionary expression of leadership capable of holding the planetary whole in its heart while acting with fierce clarity, humility, and love in the midst of global uncertainty.
This is monadic leadership.
