Golden Rebels is a brand new project spearheaded by Melbourne singer songwriter Lear Hodgkins. Having spent the past 15 years or so performing with his family band Perch Creek and the more recent brother/sister duo-Miss Eileen and King Lear, this marks the the debut of Lear’s first solo venture.

With a swag of songs written over the past few years- exploring the personal, the universal and the myriad of dark golden threads in between- Lear is burning to finally give them wings and share them with the world.

Golden Rebels is an arrow notched on the bowstring of the ecstatic stretched between the magical and the mundane aimed at connecting a future yet to arrive and past we are still trying to remember.
